The landing turned out beautifully! We used the maple truffle engineered flooring which is in our gameroom and office and I love it!!! The installation is flawless!
Absolutely nothing was easy about this project. We ordered a piece of 78" stair nosing for the landing, which would have been wide enough for both sides of the landing. We didn't measure it when it came in as a special order from Lowes, because all they sell is 78". When we finally got ready to install it, the piece we got was only 72" wide, so we had to order another piece. Of course, the second piece was also 72", and Lowes did give us a discount on that piece, but still - we shouldn't have had to order the second one at all.
